Artist Biography

Pheren Soepadhi was born  in Jakarta, Indonesia, but spent most of her childhood in Jakarta and Singapore. She moved to Los Angeles in 2012. 

She graduated from the Multimedia Arts at Raffles Design Institute Singapore in 2005 and Fashion Design at Bunka School of Fashion Japan in 2007. She has worked for two of the biggest TV Stations in Indonesia and several music video projects for Sony Music Latin in Miami and other companies in Los Angeles as the Art Director and Fashion Stylist. She is best known for her photo work which she has won The Photographer of The Year at Television of Arts and Science Hollywood in 2013. Her photo work has been published in several fashion and music magazines and newspapers in The U.S., Australia , Indonesia and Singapore. 

Recently she was awarded two bronzes and one silver at the 10th Annual IDA Awards on 9th May 2017 in Los Angeles for her projects; Plague Flowers of The Kaleidoscope and In Darkness, We Shall Be Reborn in the Haute Couture and Wedding Accessory category.

Frustrated with a limited selection of existing dark accessories, she started to make her own accessories in late 2011. Her accessories have been worn from Diplomats to International musicians such as Derrick Green (Sepultura), Olof Morck (Amaranthe) , Nergal ( Behemoth ), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), James Cassells (Asking Alexandria) , Stefan Helleblad (Within Temptation) , Elize Ryd ( Amaranthe ), Xenoyr (Ne Obliviscaris) , Kevin Verlay (Svart Crown), Veronica Bordacchini (Fleshgod Apocalypse), Lindsay Matheson ( Cradle of Filth) , Simone Simons (Epica) , Zak Cox ( Uncured),  Adora Bratbat, Victoria Lovelace, and Indonesian actors/ musicians;  Melanie Subono , Momo (Geisha) , Audy Item Uwais, Mario Lawalata, Regina Ivanova (Indonesian Idol winner 2012) , Prattyoda (Indonesian Idol) , Nikita Mirzani,  Angelina Zhi (The Master) , Kalina & Deddy Corbuzier.
